I’m lucky that I can afford to make small donations to different charities or organizations monthly. Not everyone can. But that doesn’t mean the people who can’t make monetary donations can’t get that “I did something good” feeling. There are plenty of free things you can do for people. Here are a few:
❥Appropriately compliment someone. Do you like the color of someone’s shirt? Did you love the cookies your coworker bright into the office? Let them know!
❥Write someone a letter. Honestly, I still get a thrill of getting a letter or a card in the mail.
❥Let someone cut in front of you in line. If you have a carriage full of groceries, and the person behind you is just buying one or two items, let them go first.
❥Listen. If someone is having a bad day, let them vent. Let them get it all out.
❥Help out. If you have time, there are volunteer opportunities in a lot of places. Or, help out a friend. They may need help with a move, or a ride to the airport.
These are just a few ways you can put some good into the world without spending money. What are your suggestions?
