So, I was just scrolling through Twitter, and saw a tweet from one of my favorite authors, Jodi Picoult:
I’m not really up on current hashtags, so this one is new to me. Teachers need supplies for their classrooms and are using the hashtag #clearthelists to ask for help. There are links to Amazon Wish Lists in these tweets. They’re asking for paper, erasers, markers, crayons. Items you would think the school system would provide for them. (I know. It’s about money. The school systems probably can’t afford to equip every class. And that starts a discussion that I don’t know if I want to get into here.)
Here are some of the Wish Lists that Jodi Picoult has shared. It looks like there are also hashtags that include the state the teacher is in (example #clearthelistsct). Go on to Twitter and search this hashtag. Share it. Also, feel free to share your own in the comments.
There are so many more wish lists out there! I'm hoping to have the chance to list more, and maybe put them in order by state.
